Day two at Disneyland with the family! Caution: Lots of photos and videos ahead!
Shaelyn trying to pull the sword out of the stone.I tried to get them all to pull on the sword at once, but when does it ever work out the way you want? They wouldn't look up either, oh well!

Shaelyn on Dumbo.

Winston and Grandpa Vonasek outside of Small World. This has got to be Winston's favorite, you will see why in the videos.
I caught this cute photo of AJ and Winston. They were having a great time!

Small World Video

More Small World Video

Yes another one.

This is the last one of Small World, I promise. At least for this entry :)This is Tuck and Roll Bumper cars. So fun! Kenzie and Shaelyn went together, and Cory and Winston went together.
Tuck and Roll VideoWe went to lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe. We started off with the volcano of brownie and ice cream. I mean really who wants to wait for dessert? Anyway, Winston is sporting his own brownie pirate mustache. Aaarrr! Here we are eating our yummy food!Isn't this a great picture! I thought is was sweet!
Here is another good one except Shaelyn closed her eyes.So the last night we tried to get in as many rides as we could before we had to leave. We went to Space Mountain, and this is us messing around in line. No one told me about the Spock sign.I was ready in this picture. Shaelyn got it down too!

I love family! Seriously, my mom looks like she could be my sister!

Tie Dye Fanatics

So everyone at Disneyland knew that we belonged together, we were all wearing Tie Dye. Seriously we should have been hippies, our family loves doing Tie Dye. Anyway, there are going to be a lot of pictures from our trip out to CA. We went to Disneyland for 2 days and had a great time. This is a picture of all my siblings. Going left to right, youngest to oldest. McKaela, Mitchell, Morgan, McKenzie, Austin, Ashley, Aaron, Shawntel.
So we actually had a chance to snap a shot with Cinderella, one of the MOST famous Princesses of all time. Let me tell you that there are some ruthless people out there and they don't know how to form a line.
Austin and Morgan wanted a picture too! So cute!
So we had to ride the carousel while we were there. The line is short and it was Shaelyn's first ride ever at Disneyland.

From Left to Right: Shaelyn, Mitchell, Aaron, Rachel. What a fun group!

Watch out, crazy driver!

We snapped a few pictures just before the fireworks.
We had to do the tea cups. I thought this was a cute picture of Mitchell and Shaelyn.

We didn't spin very fast, otherwise I would have been ready to go home, and of course I didn't want Shaelyn to get sick :)
Also, a side note: The first day at Disneyland, we ended up going over to California Adventure. We all wanted to go on the Tower of Terror. Shaelyn said she wanted to go too. I told her that it was scary but she still wanted to go. Her aunt Mickey (SO terrified to go on this ride) tried to talk her out of it too. Mickey said "I am so scared to go on this ride, you probably don't want to go on it." Shaelyn's response "It's okay McKaela, I will be there to hold your hand" So anyway, Shaelyn went on the ride with all of us and wanted to go on the ride the next day. She has no fear, crazy girl!
Shaelyn's Scary Ride Tally and scale of scariness:
Splash Mountain: 2 times (a little bit scary, definitely her favorite)
Tower of Terror: 1 time (just a little bit scary)
Space Mountain: 1 time (a lot scary)
Thunder Mountain Railroad: 1 time (very fast and a little scary)
Number of tears shed: 0 (can you believe it!)

First day of our Two Week Trip to CA and weight update

In April, the kids and I decided to go out to CA by ourselves to see Family, go to a Wedding, and Disneyland of course. Yeah, so I was very scared to travel with 3 kids all by my self for the first time. Surprisingly it went very well, there were many people more than willing to help me get through security. I also got a lot of "That lady must be Crazy" stares. I think I was mostly scared we would get stuck at security and then we would miss our plane. While on the plane I took a few photos, they were very excited to go to Grandma's house, both of them!Shaelyn's face is a little washed out but I think this is a cute picture of her.
I think this is just a victory shot, some evidence that we actually made it on the plane and into our seats.
Once we got to CA the kids wanted to go swimming. The water was freezing! The kids just kind of stayed at the steps.
They did not want to get out.
They were both shivering, I practically had to drag them out so they wouldn't get hypothermia.

We all had a great time while we were at Grandma and Grandpa Schenck's house.
So I guess it is time for another weight update. I am now down to the 150's! Woopy! Okay so I am just barely there but this week I lost 3.5 lbs. I like it! I've got about 30 more lbs to go!
Thanks for all your support!

Shaelyn's Birthday at the park

We had a great time at the park! Everything seemed to work out really well! The grill and tables were available and we had a great turn out! Here is the cake that Shaelyn picked out at Costco, I tried to see if she wanted balloons or a rainbow, but she was determined to get the flower cake with red, yellow, blue, and pink flowers. So that is what we ordered. And it was yummy! Chocolate with chocolate mousse and cream cheese frosting. I was good, I only ate a small piece.
Below is Shaelyn opening her presents.

Here is William on the playground, he is so fearless, he was constantly going down the slides, so different from my other kids.

Winston loved the blow party favors. I think he wore out about 5 of them, ha ha!

I think everyone had a great time!

The wind was crazy the whole time we were there but we managed to light the candles and get through the birthday song!

The Art of Drawing . . .

On the face! Friday Afternoon, I had to wake the kids up and we needed to go. This is what they woke up looking like.

Seriously, it could be much worse. I asked them what was on their faces and they said they wanted to be tigers. I think Winston supplied the pen (permanent) and Shaelyn did the art work.
I think if I was having a bad day, then I would have been upset, but fortunately I was having a good day and I couldn't help but chuckle. I tried to keep my mommy face on and tell them that it is not okay to color on our bodies. I hopefully got the point across, and it won't be happening anytime soon.
When I snapped these pictures they weren't quite awake yet. Also I wanted to give you this weeks weigh-in update. I lost another 3 pounds, woo hoo! I am almost into the 160's, hopefully next week! Do my toes look skinnier? LOL!Again, Thank You All for you nice supportive comments, you guys really keep me going!
